Sour Sticks
Sour Sticks
Description
Description
Originating in Mako, Hungary, the Paskesz company, founded by Anshel Paskesz at the beginning of the 20th Century, has become one of the largest manufacturers of Kosher candies. For those who like the zing of a sour tasting candy, Paskesz chewy Sour Sticks, covered with minute dots of sugar, turns out to be the perfect hit! Creating a hyperrealistic version of the package and contents meant dealing with the inside and outside of the package very differently. To draw the sticks visible through the plastic cover, they need to have a very different hue than those that are sticking out of the pack. Utilizing a thin flare and slightly muted tints, the inside candies begin to look convincing. Again, correct lighting and the resulting shadows that emphasize depth and dimension, help create the hyperrealistic effect.
